A few weeks ago Mike had his work Christmas party and I looked fabulous!

Here's a better picture of the dress! It was so cute (and it was RED!) and sooo close to being modest, but I couldn't find any fabric to match to lengthen the "sleeves" any. But this last minute shrug looked great too. I wore blingy red garnets that Daddy sent me for my birthday last year and they were perfect!! And I found these knock 'em dead red heels at a resale shop! Yes! And not to mention the gold clutch that I grabbed out of the dress-up box. Viola! It's so fun to dress up!

The party was fun too.

Isaac had a pre-school Christmas program lastnight! It was adorable! When I first looked at the program I thought for sure we'd be there for hours. There were about 12 classes (different age groups) each having a their own number or two. But it was smooth and well done. They had two resident musicians performing simple Christmas songs in between each number until the kids got in place. It was lovely. I loved the opening words from the presiding pastor "Let the cuteness commence!" And cute it was!

Isaac was a little stud muffin, all spiffed out. Here is his class singing "Angels Among Us." Yes, I did cry. I didn't know they were going to bow, otherwise I wouldn't have pushed that stop record button!

Okay none of these pictures are in the right order because I'm having a fight with this blog thing and rather than losing all my pictures again, here goes.

Setting up the tree! We've decided the first FHE after Thaksgiving is the best time to set it up. Complete with Christmas music blaring and hot chocolate afterwards! Hooray!

This was the kids' table at Thanksgiving. Yup, outside! We went up to Dallas to be with Ben and Karen. It was wonderful! We had 7 pies! Oh, and the company was great too.

This my new favorite picture! While we were all at a park I had Karen take a couple pictures of Mike and I. I haven't gotten to do that since Lydia was a baby and my little sister and her fiance were taking engagement photos. Awww.

Earlier in November Isaac and Mike finished their soccer season. Isaac with his trophy and cookie!

I took this one of Evelyn yesterday. I'd taken her shirt off after lunch because it was covered in yogurt. I guess she was still hungry because there she is on the table trying to get raisins out of the box with a fork. Nice.

All spiffed up for Sunday. What a good looking family I have!
