Good Eatin'

We had a free sausage sizzle and movie night at school.  The kids watched Secret Life of Pets while the adults hung out and chatted (and ate more sausages).  You just can't beat the delicious simplicity of an Aussie sausage sizzle! 

Mike made empanadas!  And Lydia helped with the smashing.

Then we took them to the beach for dinner!

We were so lucky to have our dear Brisbane neighbors, Brad and Hyacinth, come for dinner one night!  They were passing through on their way up to Rockhampton and it was such a treat to see them!  

Date night at a really good burger joint called Burger Urge.  My amazing pulled pork and bacon sandwich was called the Donald Trump.  Ha!  

What's a date night without a quick trip to the grocery store?  Look what we found.  Mmm, sounds exciting!
