On Saturday we had a primary Easter Egg hunt and let's just say I was way more excited about it than Lydia was. I'd been looking forward to this for weeks! Her first Easter Egg hunt! Sweet!
The nursery age kids had a little plot of grass where there were 6 eggs of each color in plain view and each kid had to choose one color. Lydia did well. She knew which egg to pick up when Mom's voice got really excited.

She'd pick up the egg and open it to see the candy inside and say "ooh." Then she'd put it in the basket or hand it to me and make sure I got it in the basket and be off to the next one. It was really fun! We even got her bunny ears for the event, but as is the case, she only really likes wearing things on her head that don't normally go there. But she wore them for a little bit with Daddy.
Fun times had by all! That's all the (good) excitement in our lives lately as we've each had our fair share of the ickies. In fact here's a common sight from last week, be it with Mommy or Daddy, but Lydia was always sleeping. Turns out she had two really bad ear infections. But amoxacylin has been a good friend and she's feeling much better!
We're recovered and so excited for General Conference and Easter just around the corner! May everyone have a great enriching season celebrating Christ! And not eat too many jelly beans!
