Isaac is 2!! He had a birthday on Saturday, which meant we got to celebrate all day all together! How nice!

Isaac enjoyed cleaning up after my baking. What better dessert to breakfast than cake batter?

We went to the Science Center, which is the coolest kid's science museum!

Lydia and Isaac crawled around a cave...

We got to make paper airplanes and compete in landing them on an aircraft carrier. Pretty cool!

Back at home we opened presents. Thank you for all the cards, presents, and well wishes! Isaac loves his new ambulance, which when I call it an ambulance he gets mad and informs me it's a truck. Oh sorry. He loves all his new clothes too. In fact he had to change his clothes in the middle of opening them. He chose a long sleeved T-shirt so he could be like Daddy. Cute!

We bought him a basketball hoop and he loves it! Already he demonstrates more of Mike's athletic ability than mine. Thank goodness!

Isaac got measured! He is 33 1/4 inches. 2 whole inches taller than Lydia was at 2 years old. Look at that face! And that belly!

As you can see I made cupcakes. What a gyp! I just wasn't up to making a lavish 2 layer cake. In fact Mike made the frosting and frosted the cupcakes. What a great husband I have!

Isaac blew out both of his candles all by himself! We love our happy Isaac! What a joyful, active child!

When I was little my daddy would braid my sisters' and my hair into lots of little braids. The next morning we'd take out the braids and have big crimpy hair. It was so cool! So last week I tried it on Lydia! 11 braids...

And ta da! Look at that adorable girl! She really liked her fun hair and her teachers thought she looked cute!
