Today the weather was so perfect! It was like heaven weather, I'm sure. So Lydia and I laid out a sheet and played in the back yard. So fabulous!

She was so cute. After getting bored with sitting in the middle of the sheet she crawled to the edge, sat there, looking at the grass a while, then would touch it and look at me. Then she'd crawl to another edge and do the same. Ooh, spiky green stuff. Unfortunately, grass down here in New Orleans is an awful, rough, thick grass, not soft at all. That's because the nice stuff would die from the heat down here. Bummer. But it was good grass for blowing grass whistles, which Lydia thought was soooo funny!

Happy Easter Sunday!!!
Elizabeth wanted to take family pictures for Easter Sunday, and this is the result. Lydia has on her new Easter dress (courtesy of Grandma ... - Elizabeth's Mom, yet to be named). We even have a picture hung in the background!! We're so moved in. : )

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter. What a marvelous time to remember our Savior Jesus Christ and His resurrection. It is truly a blessing that our families can be eternal through the atonement and temple promises.

Look at how green it is! It is so nice here in Louisiana. But it is starting to get on the warmish hot side already. In fact we've been so good about not using our air conditioning until this last weekend, but now it's gotten back to nice open window weather.
Isn't this a great picture? Mike has on his Sunday cookin apron. Aren't they so cute together?

Lydia turned 10 months yesterday! Wow, she is getting so big! She stood up in her crib on her own a couple weeks ago and is now trying to pull herself up on everything. When we get her after a nap she's standing there either eager to be rescued, or content to watch her toys fall as she drops them over the side of the crib. She's so cute!

She is crawling all over the place now, but she moves in a funky half crabwalk/half crawl, but she's in no means slow. Nothing is safe anymore. She's dicovered my potted plant and the CD player. And how funny that even after I sweep the floor she manages to find the couple crumbs that I missed.

And look! She's wearing shoes! Doesn't she look so stylish? I think she's growing up way too quickly! But she's still so tiny! I love it! This picture is also to prove that her mother does put her in actual clothes and not just onesies all the time. :)
