The simple adventures of our highly entertaining little family

What a great Easter! Church was wonderful! We enjoyed some good talks and testimonies about the Atonement. And it was fun to see everyone in their springy colors.
After church we went to Curtis and Kristi's and Lydia had her second Easter Egg hunt. Before the egg hunt could start, however, all the kids FIRST had to find their baskets in the house! Tricky tricky! Here's Lydia with her's in tow, ready for the big stuff! (by the way, check out my fabulous yellow skirt! A great DI find!)
Lydia did really well with her second Easter Egg hunt. Although once I had a hard time convincing her it was hunting time, not time to play with the tricycle.
Lydia made out like a bandit! She found 7 dyed eggs and a plastic one, plus a couple of boxes of Nerds also hidden (since Mike and I found out AFTER we bought them they wouldn't fit inside the eggs). "Man, this basket is heavy!"
And no Easter would be Easter without lamb cake, complete with coconut, pastel M&M's and even Peeps! For those of you who don't know, lamb cake is a family tradition my mom started. And this year since all us girls are out of the house and have our own families they sent us our own lamb cake pans!! Thanks again!
The kids were really excited about the cake! In fact here's a picture of the beautiful, blonde Johnson family. We're so lucky to have them so close!

And here's a picture of our little family. But in October we'll add one more!
