The baby shower! This is me making out like a bandit with all my great stuff! And that's a diaper "cake" on my knee. Too cute! Also I'm so happily full of baby and yummy food! It was such a great shower!! The sisters in my branch are amazing! Not to mention my wonderful sister-in-law! Thanks Kristi! I had to take a picture of the gorgeous food! But I didn't think to get a picture until people had already gotten food, oh well, but it was such a beautiful spread!

Lydia got a big promotion a couple months ago! To a new room! With a new bed! She took to the bed really well and still 2 months later she calls it her "new bed!" Of course with all her stuffed animals on it there's hardly room for her, but she demands to have them there before she'll go to sleep. Sometimes we'll check on her and she'll have somehow covered herself with them.
Mike and I also got a "new bed!" Not really, just a new bedspread set. We decided to get new bedding as an anniversary present to ourselves. Hooray! I was so excited to replace that awful navy blue comforter that we had for exactly 4 years. Wow, that's a long time!

We got a swing set! A family in the ward was moving so we bought it from them cheap! I figure this will be great for letting Lydia be outside and get her exercise while I sit in the backyard holding a baby this fall. Lydia loves this thing! And she loves to swing high!

By the way, we're having a boy! This is Isaac and me, 7.5 months along... He is one active kiddo. Much more active than Lydia was. She was just content to rub a raw spot on my ribs, but Isaac is everywhere! We're excited to meet him!
