The simple adventures of our highly entertaining little family

We had a lovely Thanksgiving in Dallas with Mike's brother's family. Karen's brother and his wife and son were there too so we had a full house. It was wonderful! The food was fantastic and the company was even better. Lydia and Isaac were in heaven! Here is Lydia with Anna (7).

And Isaac with Scottie (5).

Mike taking charge of a turkey leg. Rargh!

And of course, we had pie! Johnson rule is at least one pie per adult present. We had 6 adults and seven pies. Pumpkin, cherry, apple, banana cream , coconut cream, pecan, and lemon meringue. Sigh! It was fabulous!
Isaac really liked the pumpkin pie.
For fun one evening we went to a climb-around kid's place called Going Bonkers. Imagine a fast food playground on steroids, sans the ketchup. It was AWESOME, and quite clean! We ALL had fun!

We had fun at home too. Here's Anna and Evelyn.
Daddy and Evelyn.
This was Isaac's favorite activity. Guess we know what Isaac's getting for Christmas. Shh!

Surprising how much Anna and Scottie have grown. Does Anna remember hiding from her momma up in the maple tree in the front yard? Good picture of Isaac anc pie: Pi are not only square, Pie are your friend. Ha. Love Opa.

Does Anna remember hiding up in the front yard maple tree and calling to her momma? She has grown so much. Having nice cousins to play with is so much fun for the children and parents. Opa
