Summer Adventure part 1

Our summer was amazing!  Thanks to Mike being furloughed we had lots of time to travel and see family and National Parks.  (I will try to be brief.)

We went to Idaho and stayed with Mike’s parents for a month.  Mike’s two sisters and their families live in the same city so we got to play with cousins!  We went boating on Uncle Joseph’s boat.
We walked around some gardens in Idaho Falls.  It is such a beautiful city!

We visited Craters of the Moon National Park (which in my opinion does not look like the moon, but does look bizarrely like a different planet).
And the Grand Tetons National Park.  Gorgeous!
And Yellowstone.

Where we got stuck in a rain and hailstorm.
And were all soaked to the bone.  We had the little girls in our car and here they were trying to get warm.
We visited BYU Idaho.  Lydia fell in love with it.

Idaho was wonderful!  Then we drove to Ohio to see my parents!  There was much wood splitting fun.

And ditch digging.  (My husband is super hot working a shovel.)

And Isaac got to play with a chainsaw.

We took the old pram for a walk.  (Mike is holding Isaac and Lydia’s hands because they needed it.)
Mike got a new hairdo.

We ate on fun cafeteria trays.  (Notice the peanut butter meltaways!)
And sucked on sugar cane from Jungle Jim’s.
Fun times had by all!
