February
Some happenings in February. Isaac had a solo and ensemble competition (okay, to be specific it was Jan 31st. Close enough.) Here he’s practicing before going into competition. He did well! This was the first year 6th graders were allowed to participate.
We happened upon a Home Depot craft one Saturday. The little girls were excited to make framed string hearts. They gave them away for Valentine’s Day before I thought to get a picture of their finished product. Oops. Alice gave it to her Sunbeam teachers (a married couple) and Bridget gave it to her school teacher.

Lydia did this! She took a turn in the van in an empty parking lot behind our house.
Lydia also had lots of soccer games. We would watch her home games in the parking lot. We’d eat sandwiches for dinner and let the kids sit on the roof of the van. It was awesome!
Here’s a picture of Lydia with the ball.
Lydia had a fancy stake winter dance. It’s a terrible picture, but she looked so pretty!
Elder Stevenson came to speak at our Stake Conference. Lydia wanted to be in the stake choir and I was happy to join her. I snapped this picture after the conference of her and Ashley Call talking to Elder Stevenson. (It was probably totally an inappropriate thing to do, but I couldn’t resist!)

Uncle Curtis was in town for work and he came to dinner! He and Evelyn doing string games.
Isaac had a middle school poster presentation night. He and his friend, Lorenzo, presenting WWI facts.
Fun on the trampoline.
