April Showers
We had a bit of rain here in Gladstone, the effects of Cyclone Debbie further north. We got two days off school for it! After the rain we had a beautiful day and went for a walk to see the swollen creeks. The bridge to the Botanic Gardens was underwater. The kids usually throw rocks off the bridge into the mud of the shallow creek. Not so shallow today!
Then a path in our neighborhood was waaay underwater!
Gladstone is so green!

Yow, what a frog strangler. Rain can be quite overwhelming at times. Another great experience to remember and tell their children about someday. Love Opa.
