Oops. Easter post
I forgot to blog Easter pictures. I can't miss my annual lamb cake post! Better late than never!
Seriously still missing pastel Easter M&M's, but I took slivered almonds and tried to lightly dye them with food coloring for the eyes and nose. Well, pastel they aren't, but they worked.

This year the kids got Easter bilbies for Easter instead of bunnies. A bilby is an Australian rodent, like a rabbit with a longer nose and a long tail. I have never seen one, but Isaac and Evelyn have each seen one at an animal show at their Kindy. There is a bit of debate among the Aussies as to which animal should represent Easter down under. But the bunny is still the most popular.

Speaking of bunnies, at school before Easter break Lydia learned how to make these adorable origami bunnies! Ack! They were so cute! And she made this entire sequence...

So creative that Lydia!

Those bunnies are genius! Let's have her teach us to make some for the family reunion! Do we need to get special origami paper?
Seriously awesome bunnies and sequence Lydia! Next year, you'll have to get a picture with the Easter bilby, right? Love you all!
Watch out for paper foxes and hawks. Great work. Love Opa
