Christmas in Sydney part two
Christmas morning was great to be in a hotel with the air conditioning cranked up so we could enjoy snuggling in our Santa hats.

Santa found us in the hotel! He brought Evelyn a doll,

Isaac Skylander Swap force,

Lydia a camera,

And Bridget got some teething keys.

Santa filled our stockings too. The kids got Jelly Belly jelly beans and it was amazing how much fun they had sorting and trading and playing restaurant with them. Wise choice, Santa!

After our lazy Christmas morning we walked around the city and looked at the beautiful Christmas windows of David Jones. They had mechanical marionette puppets shopping, dancing, and baking. It was lovely!

And this was across the street. Prada and Gucci. Tiffany's was on another corner.

My favorite part of the day was walking through the Queen Victoria Building. It is a gorgeous old building that has been turned into a really nice mall.

Since it was Christmas and the stores were closed, we got to window shop and had most of the three floors to ourselves! It was beautiful! And was a nice respite from the crowded city.

What a gorgeous building! And check out this killer bathroom! It had a granite row of sinks angled in the middle of the room with three bathroom stalls off to the side. I imagined Grace Kelly using a bathroom like that! I made Mike come look at it too (since there was no one else around) and even he was impressed. The picture really didn't do it justice.

I should make a show touring cool public bathrooms. I know my sisters would watch it!
For Christmas dinner we had really good Chinese take out. What a wonderful and unique Christmas Day! I was so happy to be sharing this adventure with my wonderful family.

What a great Christmas. It will be remembered for all the things we did and saw not so much for all the things we got. Evelynhon looks to really be happy with her doll. Love you all. Opa
