Birthday and Baptism

Evelyn turned 8!  We had such a fun day!  We started out with birthday crepes for breakfast.

Then we went out for a fun morning to get her ears pierced and play at the arcade, then ate sandwiches at a park. 

We had a special evening as well.  We went out to eat at our family's favorite restaurant, Zupa's.

Then took the older 3 kids to our dear friend Emilee's wedding reception.  

We danced and Lydia taught the bride and her father how to "floss."  

Evelyn was so lucky to get wedding cake as her birthday cake!  This was my favorite picture from the reception.  She had so much fun!

The next day Evelyn was baptized.  

We were so lucky to have Oma and Opa, my two sisters and their families, and my best friend Laura and her family come!  We also got our neighbor, Mr. John, to come.  And our realtor, Terri (whom we adore).  It was wonderful!  

Evelyn is growing beautifully, inside and out.  It's been wonderful to watch her blossom into a loving and happy girl.  We love her so much and are so proud of her knowledge of the gospel and her desire to do what is right.  Happy Birthday, dear Evelyn!
